A young mother has been indicted for the drowning death of her daughter earlier this year.Samantha Brymer-Armstrong, 22, has been indicted by the Van Buren County grand jury for one count of child abuse and one count of child neglect. Both charges are felonies.Her 3-year-old daughter, Kayleigh, was found in a swimming pool March 7 at their home on Old State Highway in Spencer.CPR was performed and Kayleigh was transported to White County Hospital where hospital staff were able to regain a pulse and labored breathing. She was then transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga where she died the next day.Brymer-Armstrong told investigators she left Kayleigh unattended for more than an hour while she played video games with headphones on in a back bedroom.Brymer-Armstrong was arrested by the TBI earlier this week.
