Morgue paving a dead issue for now

Gravel might be a permanent fixture at Warren County Temporary Morgue, at least until next year. At this time there are no funds designated for paving the driveway and parking lot at the facility.
There is no funding for paving at the Warren County Temporary Morgue. During a meeting of the county’s Building and Grounds Committee with commissioners Carl E. Bouldin, David Rhea, Kenny Roberts and Michael Shane Wilcher, the need to pave the driveway and parking area at the county morgue came with a realization paving was left out of the $150,000 construction project. Wilcher says he attended a Safety Committee meeting and was asked by chairman Teddy Boyd to bring before Building and Grounds Committee the need to pave at the morgue with money remaining in the construction budget.
