May is Stroke Awareness Month and River Park Hospital is holding an event to educate the public about stroke awareness and to provide free screenings to help determine stroke risk for attendees. The event will take place in River Park Hospital’s cafeteria this Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m.Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. has a stroke, according to statistics. That’s why River Park Hospital has made concentrated efforts in the past year to increase local stroke coverage.
