A man has been given two years in the state penitentiary for having sex with a 14-year-old runaway girl.The man, Peter K. McChesney, 20, was given the maximum two-year sentence by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley on the charge of statutory rape. He will also be required to list himself on the state’s sexual offender website and has been warned to have no further contact with the victim.McChesney was arrested when Sheriff’s Sgt. Jason Walker arrived at a home on Clements Road looking for the runaway girl. He had been given information she may be hiding at the home.“The owner of the residence took me to the basement of the house,” Walker revealed in his warrant.
