Man makes threats to kill Obama

A Tennessee man has been arrested for allegedly making threats to kill President Barack Obama, other politicians and several Tennessee officials.

Jimmie Randall Johnson Jr., 45, was arrested Saturday.

The affidavit said Johnson called the Tennessee Department of Homeland Security several times and threatened to kill top political and law enforcement officials.

His list of targets included Obama, former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, former vice president candidate Paul Ryan, Tennessee Homeland Security Director David Purkey and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Tommy Farmer.
