A man had his home raided, was chased by deputies, and tased, all on his birthday, and now he will be serving Christmas and New Year’s Day behind bars. The man, Timothy Wayne Judkins, 43, was bound to the grand jury by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross on charges of initiating the process to manufacture meth and evading arrest. In the meantime, while waiting for those cases to be heard after the new year, he was ordered to serve 180 days for violation of probation but may replace his jail time with in-house rehab time for the half-year term.Judkins’ problems began on his birthday last week when officers arrived at his Holcomb Road trailer to serve an outstanding warrant against him. However, officers said the man bolted when he was first confronted by lawmen, running toward a wooded area behind his residence.“He ran from us toward the back of the trailer, refusing to stop until he was tased in a wooded area behind the trailer,” said Billy Joe Crouch of the short chase.Adding to his woes after his short-lived run from officers was the discovery of a meth lab inside his trailer leading to the new felony charge against him.
