A local man was injured in the pre-dawn hours Wednesday morning when he crashed and rolled his car while running from the law.The driver, Aaron Gribble, 22, was treated at River Park Hospital for injuries he received when he crashed his car on East Green Hill Road in the northern part of Warren County. He had to be cut from his vehicle by emergency workers.Investigators say Gribble was traveling at a high rate of speed on Smithville Highway just after midnight Wednesday and was spotted by a highway patrolman. When the officer activated his blue lights trying to stop Gribble, he reportedly tried to get away, accelerating his 2003 Lincoln southbound, toward McMinnville, from the DeKalb-Warren County line. The officer estimates Gribble was traveling at speeds over 100 mph before he turned onto East Green Hill Road from Smithville Highway as he reached Dibrell. It was as he was trying to navigate the curvy, two-lane road that Gribble lost control about four miles from the Smithville Highway intersection.
