Main Street Live comes to close

Country music star Cody McCarver had the Main Street Live crowd’s feet moving Friday night, right along with the runners in the inaugural Downtown After Dark 5K Run. The popular singer, a former member of Confederate Railroad, packed the West Lawn of Security Federal with one of the season’s biggest audiences, according to Main Street president Carla King.McCarver closed out the Main Street Live season with a selection of his hits as well as those of Confederate Railroad, including “Redneck Love,” “Queen of Memphis,” and his new hit “Through God’s Eyes.”McCarver, who lives in Dunlap, says he has ties here. His bus driver Chris Terry lives in Mt.
