Community members have come together to clean up the T.K. Wood’s Building at the Warren County Fairgrounds.

Much goes into getting the fairgrounds ready for the highly anticipated Warren County A&L Fair. Tammy Young knows that a lot goes on behind the scenes, so she spearheaded the task of cleaning the T.K. Wood’s Building, also known as the Women’s Building. This is where the fair food entries are displayed, so it is important for the building to be clean.

Young decided to take action because she is friends with fair president Regan Kelsey and his wife Jenny, and she enjoys the fair.

“We didn’t get to have a fair last year and I’m just excited for the fair because I love the fair and I’m a little social bug,” said Young. “I thought I would call and be inspiring and help somebody and I just asked was there something we could do, clean the bathrooms or another building and my daughters Tristan and Tatum and myself decided it would be a good thing to take on.”
