Volunteers are needed for work on River Trail North from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 30. “We will meet at Rocket Park near the River Watch structure,” said organizer Wally Bigbee. “The area of work will be from Rocket Park to the bridge on Beersheba Street.”Volunteers are needed to use weed and brush cutters and hand tools to cut grass and weeds in the six-foot-wide corridor and also closely cut a 24-inch-wide treadway.
