A local man faces an aggravated assault charge after being arrested for brandishing a weapon during an argument with his estranged wife Tuesday.

Brayden Jay Woodlee, 32, was booked into the Warren County Jail and as of press time Thursday was being held on a $10,000 bond on charges from an incident Tuesday.

According to the arrest report filed by Sgt. Allison Lopez, she was called to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday to speak with a complaintant, who advised she and her husband, Woodlee, are married but currently separated. The complaintant went on to allege she had arrived at Woodlee’s residence on Tuesday to pick up her children, but had been told by her estranged husband several times to leave the property. After refusing to leave, she reported Woodlee displayed a .380 Glock firearm, and racked the slide and pointed it in her direction.

The report states after pointing the gun at his wife, Woodlee then shoved her off the front porch of the residence, causing her to fall to the ground.

Woodlee is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 13.
