Todd Willmore will take over the position as Director of Human Resources following the retirement of Roy Pierce. 

On Friday, Director of Schools Dr. Grant Swallows announced the news. Pierce is planning to retire on June 30, and the school system has been looking for his replacement. Swallows said Pierce will definitely be missed.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank Roy for his many years of dedicated service to our school system. He has provided valuable resources to our employees throughout his time of building the Human Resources department,” said Swallows. 

The school system advertised for the position in December and received a strong pool of applicants. Interviews were conducted this past week and Willmore was offered the job. Willmore is currently the athletic director for Warren County Schools. 

“Mr. Willmore will have served our school system for 20 years at the conclusion of this year,” said Swallows. “Before coming to education, he spent several years in local, private business. This unique combination along with his attention to detail and professional will make him great for this position. I know that we will all benefit from his leadership.”
