Important dates have been set for Warren County High School registration for the upcoming school year.

The news did not generate excitement from one incoming 10th-grader.

“I am looking forward to seeing friends, but not the work,” said Aireal Vazques.

This year’s registration dates are Aug. 4 and 5. The school’s registration will stretch over two days and will be by grade and name.

Senior registration will be held between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m. on Aug. 4. Students with the last names A-L will pick up registration information from 9 to 10 a.m., while students with the last names M-Z will pick up registration information from 10 to 11 a.m.

Freshman registration will be held between the hours of 5 and 7 p.m. on Aug. 4. Students with the last names A-L will pick up registration information from 5 to 6 p.m., while students with the last names M-Z will pick up registration information from 6 to 7 p.m.

Junior registration will be held between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m. on Aug. 5. Students with the last names A-L will pick up registration information from 9 to 10 a.m., while students with the last name M-Z will pick up registration information from 10 to 11 a.m.

Sophomore registration will be held between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 5. Students with the last names A-L will pick up registration information from 1 to 2 p.m., while students with the last names M-Z will pick up registration information from 2 to 3 p.m.

Students and parents will not be allowed in the building. Students will pick up schedules along with any other important information in a drive-thru format on the bus ramp at the back of the high school. Students and parents will turn left onto the bus ramp from Pioneer Lane, second entrance on the left, drive around the bus ramp, provide the student’s name to a high school official, and receive their registration materials.

Students who have reserved a parking pass will also need to show their license, complete the driving form, and pay for the pass at the time of registration. The cost is $40.
