Warren County Schools is upping its game in an effort to ensure students are career ready upon graduation by offering a special recognition to those who complete the Career Readiness Diploma Standard. “We wanted to build a work readiness component within our high school so when students graduate we could say they are work ready and we could tell businesses they are work ready,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox to members of the Education Committee on Monday. The new program has 14 different standards with some having more than one objective. Students must complete objectives, accumulating at least 20 points and present proof of completion to the school for verification.
