A Francis Ferry couple faces a battery of charges for ripping off numerous nurseries of thousands of dollars worth of trees and bushes.The suspects, Candas Lashae Campbell, 27, and Donald Gene Muncey, 45, waived their rights to preliminary hearing and were bound to the grand jury on charges of grand theft, misdemeanor theft, criminal trespass, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. They are charged with stealing nursery stock from at least six nurseries.Their charges come after sheriff’s deputy John Underwood pulled over their Dodge truck on Manchester Highway.“The truck was loaded down with nursery stock,” Underwood said, noting there were 32 trees on the truck. “Neither could explain where they got the trees or provide a bill of sale.”The deputy said he looked closer and noticed one of the tarps in the truck had a label on it, saying it belonged to Heather Farms on King Road in Morrison.
