Hundreds of costumed trick-or-treaters headed downtown on Tuesday for lots of sweet treats.

The annual downtown trick-or-treat was a big success. Businesses handed out candy to the many trick-or-treaters. Candy options began a little earlier for trick-or-treaters with special needs. The special needs trick-or-treating is done to help make those with special needs feel more comfortable trick-or-treating. This began at 11 a.m. and the schools allowed students with special needs to be excused for the event. A bounce house was also available for those wanting to jump around.

At  3 p.m. on Tuesday, downtown McMinnville was full of superheroes, monsters, princesses and more. The trick-or-treaters made their way from business to business filling up their bags with dozens of treats.
