It’s was the end of a pharmaceutical era in Warren County in 2016 with the closing of Stewart Pharmacy. Rumors the drug store would be closing began in 2015 shortly after the death of pharmacy founder Nestor Stewart on June 23, 2015.Speculation was confirmed in January 2016. The business announced it would be merging with Rite Aid and closing its doors at Plaza Shopping Center on Jan. 27.The merger ended a mainstay of the Warren County business community.
