State gives OK to county budget

Warren County making it another year without a property tax increase received approval from the state, as far as current revenue and expenditures are concerned. County Finance Department director Linda Hillis presented the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury approval letter for fiscal year 2017-18 to the full commission. “We have received the budget and have determined that projected revenues and other available funds are sufficient to meet anticipated expenditures,” said Sandra Thompson, director of the Office of State and Local Finance.
