The mystery of the whereabouts of a missing man who was allegedly running from authorities in December 2021 may have been solved after a skull was discovered on a steep embankment near Center Hill Lake. Though the remains have not been positively identified, they are believed to be that of 29-year-old Matthew Braswell, who has not been seen or heard from since he fled into the woods after a crash on Ponder Road in Smithville.
