Everyone is invited to attend Christmas concerts presented by members of the Silver and Gold Band and its director, Mike Chilcutt.
The first concert will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, at First Baptist Church at 403 N. Spring Street. The second concert is at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at Three Star Mall. 
Secular and religious selections will be played. Chilcutt is a retired Warren County Band director. Under his direction, the bands won many contest blue ribbons and played in two Macy’s Christmas Parades, having the honor of being the lead band in one. Some of his students now play in the Silver and Gold Band.
The sponsor of the band is Security Federal Savings Bank. Both concerts are free. Anyone interested in joining the band may call Chillcut at 473-3856.
