The McMinnville-Warren County Senior Center is a resource for all seniors 60 and older. 

Senior Center executive director Lana Whitlock wants to clarify the center’s focus after a story published Wednesday in the Standard inaccurately indicated the Senior Center can help with robo-calls.

“I can’t do anything to help with robo-calls,” said Whitlock. “If I could, I would do something about all the robo-calls that I receive every day. The Senior Center is a great resource and we can connect seniors to the services they need. But we can’t help with robo-calls. I don’t know who can do anything about that.”

Whitlock’s purpose for attending a recent Warren County Health and Welfare Committee meeting was to show the Senior Center is a valuable resource that can assist local residents with their everyday needs.
