The Fair Fun Show thrilled fairgoers with competitions judging riding skills and horse discipline and featured a variety of races on Sept. 6.

Fairgoers were able to watch a variety of events that demonstrated the skill of the 288 entries across the many events and the discipline of the horses that thundered across the lower fairgrounds arena.

Event organizer Savanah Scott said the Fun Show at this year’s Warren County A&L Fair had the largest turnout she has seen in years.

Unfortunately, during the adult barrel race, Meagan Hill was bucked from her horse at a high rate of speed and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

All kids who participated in the stick horse race were considered winners by the judges. Hannah Tate took first place in the western pleasure event.

McKenzie Hillis won the saddle horse pleasure event. Harper Beiling raced to first in the pee-wee barrel race.

Taylor Gann won first place in the youth barrel race. Hannah Tate was victorious in the adult barrel race.

Harper Beiling won first in the pee-wee pole bending competition. Kirby came first in the youth pole bending competition.

McKenzie Hillis claimed first in the adult pole bending event. Easton Beedle won first place in the open shod racking competition in his first experience riding a horse alone.

Jade and Lori left the pantyhose race as first-place winners. McKenzie Lankford didn’t drop the ball and won first place in the potato drop race.
