Big changes are in the works for the 2018 Relay for Life. Among them will be a move from Nunley Stadium to Court Square.McMinnville’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously approved the change of venue for Saturday, June 2.“We will be having entertainment, an auction, a survivor’s walk, the luminarias ceremony, and again, a fireworks display,” said Carla Savage, chair of Warren County Relay for Life.The firework finale around historic buildings raised concerns.“I think it’s great you are bringing it downtown, but fireworks might be a problem,” said Alderman Everett Brock, who pointed out the New Year’s Eve event offers fireworks but they are shot across the street at the parking lot of what used to be Stubby’s Dry Cleaners on Colville Street. “It’s away from buildings.
