The start of a new school year has brought with it a welcome achievement for Centertown Christian Academy.The private school has earned Quality Status from ACE, the organization which provides its academic direction.ACE stands for Accelerated Christian Education. It’s a Bible-based curriculum that’s used worldwide, according to Centertown Christian Academy founder Jerry Smith. Quality Status was awarded after a school evaluation at the end of school last year.“It’s a wonderful curriculum,” said Smith, a local pastor.
