Good vibes and reggae music will be taking place on the top floor of Collins River BBQ next Friday, Jan. 17. Plainview Vibes, a local reggae band, will perform from 8:30 to 11 p.m.

Plainview Vibes and VibRight will bring warm island music to the cold, winter weather during a performance at 117 East Main Street.

Five members make up Plainview Vibes with three of the musicians being originally from McMinnville. The show at Collins River BBQ will be the first performance since the group hosted Reggae at Smooth Rapids in the summer.

“This is our first 2020 show and we will be playing lots of new original material,” says Plainview Vibes bassist Cotey Tanner. “Come to the show prepared to be uplifted by positive music and positive people.”

Plainview Vibes is touring throughout the region and playing its first show of 2020 at Collins River BBQ. Vibright is a fellow reggae band located out of Nashville.

The show is 18 and up. Price for admission is $5 at the door.
