A woman faces drug charges after she allegedly tried to trade pills last week for a prize at the Warren County A&L Fair.The woman, Ashley Nichole Arnold, 27, is charged with possession of drugs and will face hearing in General Sessions Court on Nov. 22.Deputies say Arnold approached a game booth host at the fair last Friday night and offered a swap.“She was wanting to trade pills for a prize,” said deputy Chris McCormick, who was hailed by the person she had tried to bribe with drugs.As the deputy was talking to the witness, Arnold walked up and was positively identified as the person who made the offer to swap pills for a prize. The deputy asked to search her.“I found hydros on her person and inside her purse was found two glass pipes with residue and a small amount of methamphetamine,” McCormick said.The deputy did not reveal exactly which carnival prize Arnold was seeking. She was arrested on the spot and taken to jail.Kissel Entertainment owner Russ Kissel says he does drug screens and background checks on all his full-time employees.
