USA Gym owner Paige Northcutt is urging McMinnville officials to renovate the Civic Center, but not expand the Wellness Center because that would compete with her business. “I don’t feel it’s fair that you would use my tax dollars to compete against me when you could put some of the money toward creating something exciting for this town, such as building an indoor pool,” said Northcutt. Currently under consideration is updating and expanding the Civic Center at an estimated cost of $4.8 million.
