It’s that time of year again, a time to open your heart and bring joy to the life of a child. The Operation Christmas Child season is gearing up for another successful year of giving.“It’s shoebox time,” said Debbie Patterson, who organizes the local effort with Debra Young.National collection week is Nov. 14-21. The Warren County site is First Baptist Church at 403 N. Spring Street, which is unchanged from last year’s collection site.During national collection week, the organization hopes to reach its 2016 global goal of giving to 12 million children in need.
