The Tennessee Highway Patrol has confirmed one person has died in a two-car collision Wednesday around 11:30 a.m. in Rock Island. The accident took place on Sparta Highway in front of the Dollar General, a spot where two people died earlier this year when their vehicle pulled into the path of a tractor trailer. The Highway Patrol has yet to release the name of the victim.
