The mother of a 17-year-old WCHS student who was shot and killed last week in Cannon County wants answers. And she says she’s not getting them.“My mind won’t be able to rest until I know what happened,” said Brandi Byars, mother of 17-year-old Scout Sullivan, who was killed last Tuesday, Jan. 31.“The sheriff’s department in Woodbury is not cooperating with me at all,” said Byars. “I’ve probably called 10 times and I’ve only talked to the sheriff once and that was about the release of his body. It didn’t have anything to do with the facts of the case.”The Southern Standard has made three calls to Cannon County Sheriff Darrell Young.
