More charges for Brinkley for child porn

Billy D. Brinkley is presently being held on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.

A former Yorozu employee charged with possessing child pornography on his cellphone has even more charges coming as lawmen now suspect he may have personally shot some of the videos of children engaged in sex acts.
The suspect, Billy D. Brinkley, 34, is presently being held on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor. He is waiting for the Warren County grand jury to hear his case after being bound over last week.
His charges come after his phone was found while he was on the job at Yorozu. Not knowing who the phone belonged to, the people who found it opened it to try to find its owner.
However, while going through the phone, they discovered disturbing images of children in sexual situations. Lawmen were called and Brinkley was questioned, at which time he allegedly admitted to downloading the illegal images.
However, according to sheriff’s investigator Jason Rowland, officers in Rutherford County are planning to charge Brinkley in the near future with crimes arising from an investigation of his phone.
“There were videos of children involved in sexual situations,” Rowland noted of the items found during a forensic search of Brinkley’s phone. “We believe he may have taken some of those videos.”
Rowland said there is reason to believe the illegal videos of children were shot in Rutherford County. Therefore, that part of the case will be prosecuted in Murfreesboro.
Meanwhile, in Warren County, Rowland said he has already identified over 50 illegal images on Brinkley’s phone, making his crime here a Class C felony punishable by three to six years in prison. Should the total rise above 100, Brinkley could face eight to 12 years in prison for the illegal pictures.
