The Cookeville/Putnam County branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is holding its third annual Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant on June 8 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Cookeville Community Center. The pageant is open to young women of color in Warren, Putnam and Cumberland counties. Winners will receive scholarships ranging from $100 - $800.
