Brent McCay, formerly of the Industrial Development Board, recently opened up more about his reasons for resigning. He was concerned with potential conflicts of interest and also felt the board “wasn’t upholding their fiduciary duty to seek out the highest rates possible.” In addition to potential conflicts and not taking advantage of the most favorable banking rates, McCay opposed what he felt was the unfair removal of the former director of the IDB Don Alexander.
