Judd Matheny is trying to retain his seat in the Tennessee House against two challengers from his own party, Steve Lynn and Will Lockhart.The three Republicans squared off Tuesday in a Southern Standard/ WCPI political forum at Warren County Administrative Offices.Matheny is finishing his seventh term as state representative in the 47th District, which serves all of Coffee County and about one-third of Warren County. All three GOP candidates are from Tullahoma.Early voting begins Friday in the Republican primary for this seat. The winner of this primary will win the seat because no Democrat qualified to run in the general election.
