A father who was found standing barefoot outside Northgate Plaza, leaving his 1-year-old child unsupervised in a running car, has been released on time-served.The father, Ryan Anthony Travers, 24, entered a guilty plea before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke to the charge of child endangerment and was given an 11-month, 29-day sentence but released on time-served. He will be required to spend the rest of his term on probation.Travers was arrested recently when officers arrived in the area of Title Max at Northgate Center to investigate a drunk person.“Upon arrival, I observed a male standing outside of Title Max wearing no shoes,” the officer reported, noting the suspect appeared unsteady on his feet.Given his apparent intoxication, police approached him and asked if he knew what day it was. “He stated it was Tuesday,” the report reads.
