A 76-year-old man was found Wednesday night on Lind Street after an all-day search for his whereabouts.

Jack Miller had wandered off from a downtown assisted living facility Wednesday morning and had been last seen around 8 a.m. He was found in a wooded area on Lind Street some 13 hours later after an extensive ground and air search. Mr. Miller suffers from dementia and diabetes.

Firefighters went door-to-door in the city showing a picture of Mr. Miller and asking residents if they had seen him. A plane provided searches with an aerial view of the city.
