Main Street is staying open late tonight in honor of Warren County’s superstar teachers for Main Street’s Night Out.
Participating shops will stay open until 7 p.m. with refreshments, sales and other specials. Downtown shops are locally owned and offer a wide variety of women’s and children’s clothing, accessories, jewelry, home décor and even men’s clothing.
“Downtown businesses recognize the critical role teachers play in our community and appreciate their hard work,” said Main Street McMinnville executive director Katie Kemezis. “They educate and nurture our children and, in doing so, grow our future leaders and community-focused citizens.”
Participating businesses are excited to extend their hours and offer specials and refreshments to honor Warren County’s superstar teachers. While some specials are only available to teachers, all are welcome to take advantage of the extended hours and end of summer sales.
After a long day and night, shoppers can re-fuel at one of the many downtown eateries open late: Depot Bottom Brewery for a locally-brewed pint and handcrafted pizza from the brand new PI.E Pizza Truck, Collins River BBQ and Café for delicious entrees and craft brews, TOPZ/Metro Deli for deli sandwiches, pizzas, and froyo; and Vanilla Bean Baking Co. for coffee drinks and desserts.
Main Street businesses realize not everyone can come on their lunch break or sneak away on the weekends. They are excited for their new series of extended hour downtown shopping events called Main Street’s Night Out. In addition to Aug. 23, future Fridays include Dec. 20 for last minute Christmas shoppers and March 6, 2020 just in time for International Women’s Day.
