The last Main Street Live event was a massive success and a night to remember, according to Jennifer Flatt Meredith, executive director of Main Street McMinnville. 

The night offered many cool and exciting features such as the closer for this year’s MSL concert series, Four on the Floor. “The last show was very fun,” said Meredith. “Four on the Floor had so many people dancing and enjoying the night.” 

Last Friday night also saw a Corvette Cruise-in where spectators and fans of the classic muscle car got to see different models lined up. Security Federal Savings Bank and Ascend Federal Credit Union were also recognized by BankPak for collecting the most school supplies to give away during the resource fair. Sponsors involved in this event were: Raven Young Designs, Moore’s College Farm, Ascend Federal Credit Union, Main Street McMinnville, BankPak, First National Bank, Solomon Consulting Services, First United Methodist Church, Security Federal Savings Bank and 1810 Title and Escrow. 

“The Back to School Resource Fair went really well,” said Meredith. “We had over 100 kids that we gave back to school supplies to. We want to thank all of the sponsors that made this event possible! The Balloon Dude was there and made balloon animals for the kids. The fire department and community development set up booths to share important community information. Empower Upper Cumberland and UCHRA set up booths to inform the community of their services that they can provide as well.” 

Meredith and all those involved in Main Street McMinnville wished to thank all of the sponsors that helped bring another year of MSL to the community.
