A McMinnville man has been accused of holding down a family member and forcibly raping her.

Rosalio Regalado Luna, 42, has been charged with rape for the allegations.

According to the warrant for his arrest, the female victim was interviewed by investigators with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department and Department of Children’s Services.

“She disclosed that Luna had forced her to have sex and that he would hold her down while having sex with her,” the warrant said. “She also disclosed this was done on more than one occasion.”

According to the arrest warrant, the incidents occurred between September and November of this year. Luna was arrested and he made a $200,000 bond. 

He was arraigned Tuesday in General Sessions Court. Arraignment is when the defendant is formally presented the charge or charges prosecutors are presenting.

Luna’s next appearance in court is set for Jan. 18.
