Might high school students get another 15 minutes of sleep in the morning? That’s the question the Warren County Board of Education is taking under advisement in light of nightmarish traffic snarls that continue plaguing the morning commute to school.“It’s something we can definitely take a look at before we set the school calendar for next year,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox after the Student Advisory Council pointed to traffic woes caused by students and parents arriving at the same time to the high school and Hickory Creek campuses. “The traffic out there is definitely a problem.”The School Board agreed traffic is a problem that’s getting progressively worse given the nearly 2,000 students attending the high school this year.
