There’s a new Interact Club in town.
Warren Interact Community Club recently held its charter meeting with Rotary district governor Fred Heitman in attendance.
The club is open to all Warren County students in grades 6-12 regardless of where they attend school. There are 20 charter members from Covenant Academy, WCMS, WCHS, and the homeschool community. The club was organized in the fall of 2016 by advisors Michelle Jones and Karen Spivey.
Members have been busy even before their official charter meeting. The club has already helped with Share A Christmas Dinner distribution and also baked Christmas cookies and delivered them to local fire, police and ambulance stations.
Officers are president Alex Jones, vice president Landon Spivey, secretary Dalton Burks, treasurer Nicolette Newby, and club directors Anuja Patel and Crosley Smith.
Warren Interact Community Club is sponsored by both the McMinnville Breakfast and Noon Rotary clubs with Susan Barrett, Megan Hamblen Taylor, and Ray “Buzz” Spivey serving as Rotary sponsors.
Anyone interested in joining the club is welcome to email spiveyfamily@blomand.net.
