Tish Hillis was the woman of the night Thursday as she received the CHEER Mental Health Bell Ringer Award to highlight the organization’s annual meeting at Central Church of Christ.Hillis was praised for her work as the administrator of McMinnville Boarding Home, a job she has held since 2013. In that capacity, she caters to the needs of her elderly residents, whether it be physical or mental.“Her compassion for people is boundless,” said last year’s winner, Tammie Gribble, in her presentation. “She makes sure people get the proper care when they need it.”Hillis continues to serve as a realtor with her husband, Donald Hillis, saying it feels like she has two full-time jobs.
