Here's the steeple
Josh Swoape works to cut a tree Wednesday afternoon next to Central Church of Christ. Two trees are being removed in preparation for upcoming steeple replacement. Church officials say the current steeple is worn and rotting. Two large cranes will be needed for steeple replacement and the trees are being removed for space reasons and their encroachment on the church building.
