Traffic arraignments and trial dockets were heard on Thursday by the Honorable Judge Ryan J. Moore in General Sessions Court. 

Included in

Thursday’s action:

• Fred Dowell pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license 4th offense and was ordered to serve 90 days in jail, pay a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Stephanie Drake waived her preliminary hearing and bound her case over to the grand jury. She is charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

• Darrell R. Evans pleaded guilty to driving on a revoked license second offense and was ordered to serve 4 days in jail, pay a $50 fine, plus court costs.

• Samuel Jones was ordered to serve 10 days in jail for a failure to appear, plus court costs. He pleaded guilty to a light law violation and received a $10 fine, plus court costs. He was also charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia. Upon payment of a $300 fine, this count will be dismissed. 

• Jesus Fernando Martinez Padillo was ordered to serve 10 days in jail for a failure to appear. He pleaded guilty to two counts driving without a license and was assessed a $20 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving an unregistered vehicle and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence first offense and received a sentence of 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $350 fine, court costs, 24 hours of community service, alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, alcohol safety education class, victim impact panel and loss of driving privileges for one year. He also pleaded guilty to simple possession of methamphetamine and received a sentence of 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $750 fine. This sentence is consecutive to the DUI charge. He also pleaded guilty to simple possession and received a sentence of 11 months and 29 days to be served on supervised probation. This sentence is consecutive to the DUI and methamphetamine charges. He also pleaded guilty to a window tint violation and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving on roadways laned for traffic violation and was assessed a $10 fine.  

• Kyler Price waived his preliminary hearing and bound his matters over to the grand jury. He is charged with evading arrest, driving without a license, reckless driving, simple possession and financial responsibility law violation. 

• Hector Ramos pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to driving an unregistered vehicle on highway and was assessed a $10 fine. 

• Jamarion Stewart pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license. He was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs.  

• Jose Trejo was issued a failure to appear with a bond set at $3,000. He is charged with driving on a suspended license second or subsequent offense, expired registration and financial responsibility law violation.  

• Rickey Charles Willis, Jr. was ordered to serve 10 days in jail for a failure to appear, plus court costs. He pleaded guilty to two counts of driving on a revoked license and was ordered to serve 48 hours in jail, plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and was assessed a $30 fine. 

• Timothy Allen pleaded guilty to public intoxication and received a time served sentence, $50 fine plus court costs. 

• Elmer Lopez Alvarado pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a light law violation and was assessed a $10 fine.

• Tara Britton pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 30 days in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $750 fine plus court costs, alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment. She also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and was assessed a $10 fine. 

• Manuel Guzman pleaded guilty to a DUI first offense and was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 48 hours in jail, the balance on supervised probation, $350 fine, court costs, alcohol and drug assessment and follow all recommended treatment, victim impact panel, alcohol safety education class, 24 hours of community service, and revocation of driver’s license for one year. He also pleaded guilty to open container violation, financial responsibility law violation, driving without a license and was assessed a $30 fine. He also pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and was ordered to serve 11 months and 29 days on supervised probation, concurrent to his DUI charge, and pay restitution.  

• Sky Darlene King was ordered to go to safe driving school for speeding.

• Julio Jara pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.

• Kylee Maree Pack was ordered to go to safe driving school for speeding.

• Sheila Rodriguez was issued a failure to appear for driving on a suspended license, failure to exercise due care and financial responsibility law violation. Her bond was set at $2,000.

• Maynor Sacalxot was ordered to attend safe driving school for speeding. 

• Lee Ray Talbert was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days to serve 10 days, the balance on supervised probation for violation of an order of probation, plus court costs. 

• Brandon Tallent pleaded guilty to driving on roadways laned for traffic and was assessed a $10 fine, plus court costs. 

• Lidio De La Cruz Tolentino pleaded guilty to speeding and was assessed a $10 fine. He also pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine plus court costs.  

• Terry Huntley Turner pleaded guilty to driving without a license and was assessed a $50 fine, plus court costs. 

• Jennifer Copley was issued a failure to appear for DUI first offense. Her bond was revoked and a new bond was issued for $10,000.
