A man who didn’t learn his lesson from his first drunk driving accident, only to wreck again while under the influence a couple of months later, has been given 50 days in jail.The repeat drunk driver, Joseph R. Gann, 32, entered guilty pleas to two counts of first-offense DUI and one count of reckless endangerment and violation of probation. He was directed to serve 50 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence.Gann had his first drunk driving wreck last June when he slammed into another car on Shelbyville Road.“The injured driver stated the vehicle went past them as they were turning left and turned into them, hitting their vehicle,” said sheriff’s deputy Jon Odom, noting two people were transported to the hospital with injuries from the wreck.The deputy noted he detected clues Gann was intoxicated. “There was a strong smell of alcoholic beverage on his person.
