Fourth festivites fewer, but fun

Charlee Pease, 2, and Hadlee Pease, 1, weren’t about to let their float in the Yankee Doodle Children’s Parade go to waste. The parade was canceled, but the sisters still enjoyed climbing in and around the decorative wagon and posing for pictures Friday morning. They are the daughters of Kylie and Hondo Pease.

There wasn’t a children’s parade, but it was still a Yankee Doodle Dandy of a time Saturday during Fourth of July festivities in downtown McMinnville.
