Five charged for meth

Five local men were indicted on a slew of drug charges on Dec. 2 according the McMinnville Police Department.

George Omer Guindon, 55, Frankie Lee Gunter, Jr., 41, Darrell Lee LeFevers, Sr., 44, Tyson Eugene Locke, 21 and Norman Allen McBride, 39, were all indicted by the Warren County Grand Jury on charges relating to the sale and delivery of methamphetamine after a joint investigation by McMinnville P.D., the 31st District Attorney General’s Office and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.. All of them have been picked up and charged as of Tuesday.

Guindon racked up the most charges with six - three counts of sale of meth and three counts of delivery of meth. Guindon was indicted for three different incidents taking place between March 3 and March 16, 2022. He is being held with a bond of $60,000.

Gunter was indicted on the earliest occurrences dating back to June of 2021. 

According to the indictment, Gunter was found to have knowingly sold and delivered a schedule II controlled substance, to-wit: meth, in an amount of 0.5 grams or more. He was indicted on two counts of selling and two counts of delivering for two separate occasions, June 4 and June 8, 2021. Gunter is being held with a bond of $40,000.

According to McMinnville P.D., McBride was also charged for two counts of sale and two counts of delivery, and is being held with a $40,000. LeFevers was charged with one count of sale of methamphetamine in a school zone and two counts of possession of meth with the intent to sell. He is being held with a $20,000 bond.

Locke was only charged with one count of sale and one count of delivery on one incident occurring on Aug. 22, 2022. Locke was indicted on the most recent incident and is being held with a $20,000 bond.

All five have been charged and placed into custody as of Tuesday, Dec. 6.
