According to the festival’s 2016 census report, nearly half of all visitors last year were attending for the first time.Bonnaroo kicks off its 16th year Thursday in Manchester with U2 and Red Hot Chili Peppers headlining the show.According to organizers, 130 performances are scheduled on 10 stages over the four-day event this Thursday thru Sunday with music and dozens of comedians. Tickets are still available at www.bonnaroo.com for the entire event or single-day passes can be purchased.According to the Bonnaroo census, 48.8 percent of visitors were attending their first Bonnaroo last year.
