Drugs, guns and money have landed a convicted felon behind bars after he returned home to find lawmen searching his residence.The suspect, William Markale Conaway, 20, is charged with possession of drugs and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony. He will appear before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke on July 25 for preliminary hearing on the felony counts.Sheriff’s officers executed the search warrant on his Robert Smith Road home and were soon able to find a cache of drugs, including 12 ounces of marijuana, eight grams of cocaine, a glass pipe and a digital scale. They also found a 45-caliber pistol which they discovered was stolen out of Rutherford County.“Conaway pulled up in a car,” revealed sheriff’s investigator Steven Carpenter.
