Fair thrills set to begin this Friday
The carnival portion of the Warren County A&L Fair is scheduled to open Monday with a 20 dollar hand stamp.

Get ready for corndogs and funnel cakes.
This Friday night will kick off Warren County A&L Fair week with the Preteen Fairest of the Fair Pageant. There are 40 girls registered to compete in this pageant set to begin at 7 p.m.
Saturday morning will feature a dairy goat show at 9 a.m. before a colt show at 10 a.m.
Saturday night festivities will include a Saddle Club fun show at 6 p.m. and the popular On The Road Again Show at 7:30 p.m. at Grandstand Arena.
The On The Road Again Show features local residents lip-syncing some of their favorite songs. Announcer Kevin Deason, as Bubba, adds comedy to the serious attempt by the individuals to mimic their favorite singers.
Minnie Pearl by Carolyn Garrison will be kicking off the event with Deason, while the entire cast will end the event with Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.”
On Sunday, gospel singing fills its traditional spot at 1 p.m. at Grandstand Arena.
Carnival rides open Monday night with a $20 hand stamp and the petting zoo opens at 5 p.m.
